A completely off the wall, unique show filled with comedy, circus fun, music, magic and lots and lots of balloons. A simple balloon gets turned into an alien, a helicopter and scuba diver, audience members are transformed into balloon creatures in front of your very eyes!  Check out the show reel!

A mysterious market stall rolls into town, bringing with it a cast of colourful characters who will stop at nothing to entice you with their extraordinary wares. A magical adventure filled with laughter, wonder, and the unexpected no one knows what will be coming out of the market stall next!

A hilarious art session where you’ll get to draw a life model fully clothed (thankfully!) in the silliest of outfits. Plus, we’ll have a comedy critic on hand to give you constructive feedback on your creations!

Overnight a small mysterious shed appears. The doors are opened, words and stories tumble out, music and laughter begins to fill the air and then, as if by magic – children start to arrive.

The shed is a multipurpose performance space.  Stories are told by the performer in a variety of ways both inside and outside the shed. Classic tales can be told as well as new writing and even improvised stories. Anything to suit your theme!

Tales will be told at various intervals throughout the day.  Between story times the shed becomes a pop-up library where children and families can read together.

Two eccentric ladies are rolling out the gingham and inviting you to join them for the most unconventional picnic! Expect a smörgåsbord of entertainment, interactive games, curious competitions, and lashing of glorious silliness.

Perfect for all ages, The Urban Picnic is a pop-up celebration of joy, nonsense, and community spirit – served with a side helping of fun facts about how we can reduce food waste and how small changes can make big differences.

Un-be-known to many, Your town has a rich history of fairy folk from the famous Red Capped Elves to the Fire Winged imps. For thousands of years fairies have been seen here, but no one seems to talk about it.

Ray and Beverly will take you on a guided tour of all things mythical and magical.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear and have you eyes peeled and cameras at the ready because fairies are notoriously hard to capture.

This Bonkers Balloon Science Show, will bring science to life and encourage the next generation of scientists. Balloons are fun, right?

Well, if balloons are fun then that must mean that science is fun! Full of spills, thrills explosions and pops, Becky the Balloonatic, loves balloons and wants you to see just how much we can learn from them. What is a prediction? How do we carry out an experiment? What do we mean by equipment? Just what is science…?

Philippa and Frannie will bring the old school joys of sports days to your event! Egg and Spoon, sack races, Tug of war and the three-legged race! We’ve got it all.

The time travellers have been sent to your event to save the world from evil bandits. We need your help to help us defeat them! Using local knowledge, we will take audiences on an unforgettable tour of their own town!

Bringing glamour to the streets!

These 2 fashionistas will dress you up and lead you down their portable red carpet.

I would go as far to say as this was one of the highlights of the event – It was absolutely wonderful and hugely enjoyed by the visitors.

 Both women were fabulous, in character and the performance worked so beautifully in Market Square.

Milly and Tilly work in the Thornycroft factory helping to create the vehicles. The men have gone off to war and women have realised that they have the power to become chefs, farmers, plumbers, train drivers and mechanics.

The Wonder Women of the War is a 25 min show about the munitions workers of both World Wars In this interactive show, everyone is welcome to come and meet The Thornycroft Girls and watch them make a life sized kit car which children can actually ride in.

 The show is based on the real lives of the Thornycroft girls who worked in the factory where they built tanks and bullets!
